Founded in 2006 by Dan Eberle and Tim Guetterman, Insurgent focuses primarily on high-conflict feature films with dramatic narratives. Insurgent Pictures’ films include Dan Eberle’s JailCity, which won top honors at the 2006 New York Avignon Film Festival; the critically acclaimed action thriller The Local, an Official Selection of the 2008 Brooklyn Film Festival, and available around the world on DVD; and the award winning experimental drama Prayer to a Vengeful God, which was honored with Best Feature and Audience Favorite at the 2010 Royal Flush Festival, also available on DVD and digital download. |
